How to speed up the download
FileWhopper’s download speed primarily depends on your bandwidth. Keep in mind that your FileWhopper download is not the only process on your computer that uses the Internet, so in order to ensure the highest possible download speed on your machine, we recommend that you:
- check your connection speed (use any service that is designed to measure it, like https://www.speedtest.net/);
- hold off on watching online videos and uploading or downloading any other data;
- eliminate surfing social networks and looking at photos on the web while the download is still in progress;
- temporarily disable other apps that consume too much traffic.
Please keep in mind that at the end of the download process FileWhopper makes some final checks, reads data from its servers, decrypts and prepares the transmitted data for opening on your PC, which may take some time. Please be patient and do not close the download app until you see the “File/Folder successfully downloaded” message. This is a necessary step to ensure the integrity and safety of the transferred data.
Hardware on your computer can also interfere with your download, but normally its effect is minimal compared to the Internet speed and traffic used. So if your internet speed is adequate and you have a fast processor, then your download speed is probably optimal.
