How to recover password to your personal account

Want to recover your personal account password for sending large files and folders with FileWhopper? Follow these easy steps:

Step 1

Start the password recovery process from any page on the FileWhopper site by clicking the LOGIN button in the upper-right corner.

Step 2

In the ‘Log in’ window that opens, click the ‘Forgot password?’ link.

Step 3

In the ‘Reset password’ window that pops up, enter your email address and click SUBMIT.

Step 4

To confirm that you are the owner of this email address, enter the verification code that was sent to you. Didn’t get the code? You can have it resent in 1 minute. Create a new password for your account here and click SUBMIT when done.

Step 5

Now you need to log in using your email address and the new password. Be sure to save it this time! Enter the info and click SUBMIT to log in.

All files and folders are encrypted before being transmitted to ensure secure transfer. We use a specific encryption algorithm based on the password that is generated in the upload app when the upload is started, or manually created by the user before it is saved. The password is NOT transferred to or saved on FileWhopper’s servers, which means we will not have access to it, and therefore will be unable to access the files being transmitted.
